Recent developments in wave propagation and their application to new materials (CIMAT)

Venue: CIMAT Unidad Mérida , Yucatán, México

Overview

The meeting will focus on new mathematical approaches to scattering and the analysis of inhomogeneous media, as well as their recent applications to the design of materials with novel properties. It is part of a series of mathematical research activities organised by the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Bath and mathematicians based at UNAM and CIMAT (BUC). The meeting will include several talks, which will overview the recent progress on joint project between the institutions, and afternoon collaborative sessions.
