Ms Palau continues her PhD research in the area of branching processes under the joint supervision of Andreas Kyprianou (Bath) and Juan Carlos Pardo (CIMAT)

Whilst based in Bath, Dr Rivero will be presented a 20-week lecture programme via Prob-L@B to Bath graduate students, and to students round the UK, in part via the Access Grid.

Dr Rivero's visit has been made possible through a mixture of funding from EPSRC, CONACyT and the University of Bath’s International Researcher Mobility Scheme. Ms Palau is supported jointly the University's International Researcher Mobility Scheme and CONACyT.

Their stay in Bath continues a long tradition of strong research collaboration between CIMAT and Prob-L@B over a period of many years, which has previously seen visits in both directions by several researchers at the level of PhD students, postdocs and faculty.
